The products and services we provide cover Digital school books and teaching materials, Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, Play services, and much more. We reach approx. 4 million students with our digital learning services in Sweden, Germany and Austria, with a positive growth rate during the last ten years.

Now we aim higher! We are accelerating our growth journey, reinventing our digital educational platform and taking it to more markets. For this, we are looking for a Product Manager who wants to be with us on this growth journey, to manage and drive development of a part of the product portfolio globally.

The Role

As the Product Manager you will be accountable for the full product life-cycle of a part of our product portfolio globally. The role will be reporting to the Chief Product Officer of NE Group, working across brands and markets.

Your key accountability will be to develop the product portfolio in your accountability and identify opportunities of new products and services and how we can combine these with the remainder of our portfolio to maximize usage of our products across markets.

To do this, you own the vision and strategy of the specific products within your scope of Products and are responsible to evaluate market needs and to execute on a roadmap to build fantastic services for our users.

You will be working close to key stakeholders in markets, development team, UX and, most importantly, our users.

  • You have a commercial mindset with focus on the value we bring to our users.
  • 2+ years of working in a product development role, in business development, or in a similar position
  • A higher degree (Bachelor or equal) in Business Management, Industrial engineering, Education or similar
  • An interest in education and EdTech is preferable
  • Experience working with multiple markets and stakeholders is meriting

What you will do

  • Set the vision and strategy for your part of the portfolio
  • Analyse product performance and market trends and needs to identify new product needs and improvement to set the development plan and roadmap
  • Drive conceptualization of new products and investments to current products
  • Execute on the product roadmap through product development projects through which you are the sponsor
  • Working with UX to build fantastic experiences for our users


The role is located in Munich at our German headquarters, with flexible working hours and possibility to work from home.

The role reports to the Chief Product Officer, based in Malmö, Sweden

Occasional traveling to the NE headquarters in Malmö, Sweden is expected
